(Official news) Sennheiser, the world renowned headphone and microphone maker from Germany has announced that they will be using Jane’s newly released number one selling album “Update” as their official headphone demo CD nation-wide in China.  During the promotion period, customers who visit their local Sennheiser Experience Center will have a chance of getting a free “Update” album and poster, more details to be announced later. In 1945, Dr. Fritz Sennheiser founded ‘Laboratorium Wennebostel’ or ‘Labor W’ (Lab W) for short. The young company manufactured tube voltmeters. And for the next 60+ years, the name Sennheiser has been synonymous with top-quality products and tailor-made complete solutions for every aspect of the recording, transmission and reproduction of sound.

Being one of the top microphone makers in the world, Sennheiser’s professional SKM5000 series is used by many performing artists around the World.  The list includes Modonna, Avril Lavigne, the Goo goo Dolls, etc. The mega popular singers from Hong Kong Hecken Lee, Jacky Cheung, Taiwan pop singer Amei, and China’s own very famous Sun nan ，Han hong all use the Sennheiser SKM5000 series for their performances and concerts.

When Jane ordered her first custom painted blue SKM5200 in 2006, Sennheiser discovered that Jane’s very special and unique voice accentuates the top reproduction qualities of the SKM series very well.  On 25th July 2007, Sennheiser named Jane Zhang as the only “Voice Ambassador” of the Asia region.

As a token, Sennheiser specially made another SKM5200 professional microphone in a lighter blue color for Jane. Sennheiser even engraved Jane’s name on side of the microphone and it was presented to Jane by Sennheiser’s CEO of the Great China region during a highly publicized Sina press conference.
